Beaver Mountain Log Homes is selected as one of the Best Homes of 2018!
Log Home Living, a magazine devoted to log homes, conducted a vote by their log home enthusiast readers to select the top homes of 2018. Selecting from dozens of companies homes, the voters selected the Mountain View as one of the Best Homes of 2018. It will be featured in their Best Log and Timber Homes special issue.
The Mountain View is a recent build in the heart of The Catskills and was custom-designed and custom-crafted by Beaver Mountain Log Homes. The owners, Fred and Carol, started with a concept, a budget, and a realistic sense of what they wanted. They needed a design to accommodate their wide circle of family and friends who visit often. They looked to the design team at Beaver Mountain Log Homes to bring their dream to fruition.
Fred and Carol’s log home was custom-crafted by Beaver Mountain and custom-built by Cedarcrest Builders Inc., owned by Todd Stinson. Todd was comfortable and confident with the product quality and customer services of Beaver Mountain. Todd stated “If there is a problem or a last minute change they are up to it.”
The recurring theme of the entire endeavor, “they listened,” became the mantra for the build. Fred could ask questions and Carol could change her mind and the world didn’t stop rotating. They were always in the mix. They never felt they were not in control. “Beaver Mountain with the design and Todd with the build always listened,” Carol said.
