Once they found the right property, the design began with the land. Beaver Mountain walked the hillside with them, studied the slope, and looked for the best ways to frame the valley beyond. The result is a home that feels closely tied to its setting, with expansive windows, a wraparound deck, and gathering spaces oriented toward the view.
Inside, the great room, dining area, and kitchen are designed for easy time together. A custom two-sided fireplace connects the great room and dining room, creating warmth and character on both sides while giving the home a distinctly personal focal point.
Overlook Retreat is more than a mountain escape. It is the result of a friendship, a place discovered at just the right time, and a home carefully shaped around the way its owners wanted to live. Today, it gives them a peaceful place to wake up to the valley, welcome family and friends, and enjoy the changing seasons from a home that feels entirely their own.
