A Custom Log Home Designed for Family and Gathering

For John and Jackie Kozakis, family was at the center of every design decision. They wanted a home that would bring together their daughters, son-in-law, grandchildren, friends, and future generations in a place that felt warm, natural, and deeply personal.

Set in a peaceful wooded setting, Camp Kozakis was designed as a custom 10×8 thick white pine solid log home with hand-hewn timbers, open gathering spaces, and room for both connection and retreat. The home reflects their love of nature, their appreciation for the warmth of log construction, and their desire to create a place where family traditions could continue for years to come.

The main level was designed around the spaces where the family spends the most time: the living room, kitchen, and dining areas. A first-floor owner’s suite adds comfort and convenience, while the open design keeps everyday living connected and welcoming.

Designed Around Comfort, Nature, and Generations

The upper level includes additional bedrooms, a loft, and views over the main living area, creating space for guests while still maintaining the openness of the home. The lower level was designed with the growing family in mind, including a large bunk room, full bathroom, entertainment area, bar, seating, and workout space.

Throughout the home, warm log walls, timber details, stone accents, natural textures, and handcrafted finishes create the feeling the owners were drawn to from the beginning. Camp Kozakis is more than a custom log home. It is a family retreat designed to welcome birthdays, holidays, weekends, and everyday moments shared across generations.

Like every Beaver Mountain home, the ideas behind Camp Kozakis can be used as inspiration and shaped around your own land, lifestyle, views, budget, and long-term goals.
