A Four-Generation Tradition of Craftsmanship
When Beaver Mountain Log Homes was created in 1982, we built our business on a foundation of strong family values, a passion for custom-built homes, and a focus on creating the highest quality custom-crafted log homes and timber homes. Our goal is not to mass-produce the most homes, it is to design and build the best personalized, one-of-a-kind homes.
LET OUR EXPERTISE WORK FOR YOU
We promise to bring everything we’ve got to the table – expert guidance, exceptional client services, and outstanding craftsmanship – to help make your experience easier, more enjoyable, and infinitely more memorable. In every situation, we consistently strive to always do the right thing, a practice that results in quality relationships that stand the test of time. In fact, our business was built on the Golden Rule. We treat others the way we would want to be treated. It’s a simple concept, but it seems pretty rare these days.
Creating the Exquisite Level of Luxury our Clients Demand Takes Real Teamwork
In business, as in life, Ken and Karen are the best of partners. They started Beaver Mountain together with the Clark family and have been through it all, side by side. Together they have raised 4 daughters and have a large gaggle of grandchildren that they enjoy doting on. Ken loves coming to the office every day, looking forward to what the day might bring. Karen is our resident interior designer, decorating the offices and organizing company events. You might even be lucky enough to grab one of her famous chocolate chip cookies during an Open House!
Every day, as our Business Manager, Drew leverages his Architecture degree and 20+ years of experience in manufacturing and business management. As well as being responsible for accounting and human resources, he acts as our IT Coordinator, Database Programmer, and oversees Beaver Mountain’s website. Drew spends countless hours researching the best insurance companies, employee benefits packages, and energy-saving programs that will ensure our company is running as efficiently as possible. He’s also very involved with the Delaware County Chamber of Commerce and is on the Board of Directors, networking with other local businesses and promoting small business in New York.

Kimberly Clark Prochazka grew up in the log home industry. As one of Ken and Karen’s 4 daughters, she spent many years recording radio commercials for Beaver Mountain with her sisters. Some of her fondest childhood memories are of playing in the huge sawdust pile after everyone went home for the day. Today, Kim is our Director of Marketing and Photography. She combines her love of architecture with her love of photography and videography to create the stunning images and videos you see of our homes.
Kim spent her early career working in Radio on-air, and then in Public Relations on Long Island – using her BAS in Communications – before joining us here at Beaver Mountain over 20 years ago. She creates most of our printed materials and is also in charge of our social media accounts. Her award-winning photography has been featured in publications such as Family Circle and Log Home Living.
At Beaver Mountain, every home is unique and custom-designed for each client. As we never create two homes that are exactly alike, someone has to oversee every detail of every drawing and quality-check each piece of material we produce. As Operations Manager, Todd Parsons does all of this and much more.
With an AAS from SUNY Delhi and a BA from Binghamton University, Todd is well qualified to manage the day to day operations here at Beaver Mountain. After joining our team in 1997, Todd began his career with us by working in manufacturing. Later, he moved into the engineering department. His daily responsibilities include reviewing drawings, ordering building materials, keeping up to speed with building codes, researching new products to enhance clients’ homes, and making sure production runs smoothly and on time. Todd also oversees our Customer Service Department to ensure we provide superb service throughout the design/build process and well beyond completion of construction.

THE BEAVER MOUNTAIN PLEDGE
In order to put forth our best ideas and opportunities, we won’t ask you to buy anything until we’ve taken the time to learn about and understand your needs and dreams. We do not make people feel pressured to do business with us. We promise to listen more than we talk, and not waste anyone’s time. And, although we will never demean or criticize our competitors, because gossip contributes nothing of value to a purchasing decision, we believe that truthful comparisons are educational and important.
