The Richland Meadow custom log home is a stunning example of all that a vacation home in the Catskills has to offer. The owners of this home worked with Beaver Mountain’s designers to create a gorgeous retreat in a wooded country setting. After being used for many years as a family getaway, this beautifully-crafted place is now an AirBnB vacation property.
The exterior layout of this Beaver Mountain custom home features a covered front porch and a spacious deck off the main level of the home. The entertaining possibilities are endless with the ample space outside to accommodate family and friends in every season. When it came time to design the landscaping of the property surrounding the home, the owners opted for low maintenance and natural landscaping. This allows for less time and money maintaining the property and more time enjoying their log home getaway.
Stepping into the main entry, guests are greeted with the warm glow of logs and timber beams throughout the first floor – a signature detail of many Beaver Mountain homes. The kitchen has a unique breakfast bar with a beautiful stone face that perfectly complements the gleaming wood detail throughout the log home too. Beyond the kitchen is the dining room and great room. The first thing you’ll notice is the cathedral ceiling and exposed beams above the sitting area. The next detail that catches the eye are the large windows and their panoramic view of the forested area around the house. Also found on the main floor is a spacious sunroom off the dining room. You’ll also find a full laundry room, which is an absolute must-have for extended stays.
When you head downstairs a level from the main floor, you’ll find yourself in the large walk-out basement that serves as a family game room. The custom panel detailing from the main floor carries into the sub-level space as well. This basement is the optimum indoor recreation area for all guests and even features a full bar and pool table! The finished basement of this Beaver Mountain custom home provides a considerable amount of space and is the perfect spot for relaxing at the end of busy days.
