When John and Mary made their first scouting trip to Beaver Mountain Log Homes, Mary thought it would be a good idea to invite Elizabeth (Mary’s mother) to tag along for the day trip just to spend some time together, and “get Mom out of the house.” Elizabeth shared John and Mary’s excitement in touring the model homes, getting a first person taste of log home living for herself. So much so, as her daughter was making up her mind to build a custom Beaver Mountain Log Home, Elizabeth was thinking, “you know, I think I want to live in one myself.” And so two log home projects were born on the same day!
