This home I am building now for the Fabers has been a pleasure to assemble right from the delivery to the point we are at now, doing the siding on the gables and the garage and the interior framing and wiring. Because of the complete instructions and ready help from your office, you never come against something that stumps you for more than a very short period of time. You work with the home owner, but more important for me, you work with the contractor. You understand where I am coming from and my needs. The materials are superior and the outcome - WOW. When Nick came up for the day, have to say he was very helpful, knowledgeable, friendly, and a great asset to your company. He certainly kept things moving and didn't waste any time or manpower. We were very pleased. Anytime we have had to call we have gotten a wonderful response, friendly service, great advise, and just a great outfit to deal with! My doctor's nephew is building a log home (NOT a Beaver Mountain) and he is having all kinds of trouble: delivery not on time, no tech help...I am really glad we did our research and went with Beaver Mountain! No complaints here. In the year since then, we have had a wonderful experience. During the winter, the house was incredibly comfortable with no drafts through the logs and throughout the brutally hot month of July, the house remained amazingly cool. We were most pleasantly surprised during the recent Hurricane Floyd which brought with it fierce winds and ten inches of rain to Putnam County, which has been declared a disaster area. Yet, in our house, there was not a drop of water and as hard as the wind blew, not one shingle was missing. We have been told by some of our acquaintances, who have stick built as well as modular homes, that they experienced severe wind and water damage. Thanks for the fantastic service which Beaver Mountain provided from the very first day we arrived on your doorstep. We wanted to create relaxing rural country retreats and chose to carry that theme into our golf clubhouse and restaurant as well here in French Woods, NY. The log construction has definitely contributed to the warm, relaxing atmosphere. Our business relies on the return of past customers as well as word of mouth. People remark that they love the cozy feel of the logs, and that it has enhanced the experience of their stay.
