At Beaver Mountain Log and Cedar Homes, "Quality" is our primary goal. From using the best materials and the finest logs, to delivering a complete home package ready for assembly, no detail is overlooked.

Heading this drive for quality is Dave, Materials Coordinator for Beaver Mountain. A 18-year employee of the Beaver Mountain family, Dave is responsible for overseeing the receiving and handling of our products, as well as the packaging and shipping of our home kits. When materials are delivered to our mill, Dave is on hard to ensure they meet Beaver Mountain's strict specifications. If materials are not up to standard or arrive damaged, Dave is responsible for replacing the damaged materials, and making sure substandard items do not become part of your home.

Another important part of Dave's job is to be sure the materials are handled with the utmost care. An experienced forklift operator, Dave is able to move and store our materials using a touch of "TLC" and an abundance of experience.

Watch him at the wheel and it's easy to see why we count on Dave to keep the building materials organized within the storage facilities, and protected from the elements.

When a home package is ready for shipping, Dave is once again on the scene to oversee the careful loading of every shipment. Every piece is counted and double-checked against the detailed material shipping list to guarantee that your kit is delivered complete and ready for assembly. As a final step of quality assurance, Dave makes sure that all deliveries are properly secured and covered with tarps to protect them from highway dirt and wet weather on their journey to your job site.

When not double-checking material lists, inspecting deliveries or heading weekend mill tours, you can find Dave spending quality time with his wife of 13 years and his two daughters. Among the activities Dave enjoys with his family are hunting, fishing, skiing, snowmobiling and coaching his daughters' soccer and softball teams.
