Pricing: Estimating Cost
There is not a magic formula for estimating the cost of your home. Though the materials package is what you will be discussing with the log home company of choice, the “turnkey” (finished home) is what you and your family are truly envisioning.
A Beaver Mountain Log Home will cost about the same as any other custom home. The price of your home evolves as decisions are made and the project takes shape. Site conditions, home design, and the features and finishes of the home all affect the final cost of your investment. Workmanship and quality of materials are factors as well as the cost of labor in the geographical area you plan to build.
Lets take a 2000 sq ft home with three bedrooms and show how the above items can affect your turnkey costs.
From the two examples to the right, you can see how the choices made during the design, the construction and the interior décor can affect the final cost of your project.
At Beaver Mountain, we are not just in business to “sell” you a materials package. Our goal is to listen to your needs and wants, discuss your budget and assist you in a manner that will get you into the log home that meets your needs, within that budget. |
