The Beaver Mountain Difference

Our vision is to provide extraordinary custom crafted log and cedar homes to the discerning new home buyer.

Drawing from over thirty years of building experience involving stick-built, panelized, manufactured and log home construction, Donald Clark and family designed and developed the Beaver Mountain log building system. Our building experience enabled us to produce a “Builder Friendly” building system, designed by builders for builders.

Unique to the log home industry we chose to sell direct throughout the Northeastern US from our Sales/Design Center, Showroom and furnished Model Homes on Route 17/I-86, 6 miles west of Hancock, New York.

For 25 years our reputation for quality and service has produced thousands of happy homeowners and builders. Because of our reputation for excellence, over half of our sales originate from referrals.

Our mission is to exceed expectations by providing exceptional customer and builder service, comprehensive precut premium log and timber components and top quality brand name materials at fair prices.

Beaver Mountain features milled log techniques offering hand-crafted characteristics combined to make your “custom-crafted” dream home come alive! Choose precision pre-cut and numbered full log wall system or our insulated half log panelized wall system and the options to fit your lifestyle.

The difference between ordinary and extraordinary is that little “extra.” We put extra effort into selecting, kiln-drying, storing, milling, grading, and pre-cutting top quality white pine and red cedar used in our homes. We even take the extra step and drystack every pre-cut and numbered log home for quality control and also for your inspection.

We also work with top quality, brand name companies to provide the components of our home, such as Andersen® windows and doors, ThermaTru® entry doors, Elk® 50-year Architectural shingles, Owens Corning® fiberglass insulation and many more.

Come see for yourself why Beaver Mountain Log & Cedar Homes is “the finest in log homes.”
