The Foley Log Home 3414 Sq. Ft.

The Foley Home is a traditional log home in many ways. They incorporated a Lodge look in the home but the gourmet kitchen and dining area sparkle with glass and light and the latest appliances. The couple built the home on land that their son, Tommy a firefighter owned. When he died on 9/11, they could think of no better way to honor him than to complete his dream log home in the Catskills. Beaver Mountain worked with them to find quality builders to help them with the pursuit of their son's dream. They have filled the home with Tommy's memorabilia and the home has helped them feel closer to their son. The home is built for entertaining and they often have old friends of theirs and Tommy's visit. They cook and they talk and they remember. Pat and Tom Foley feel that they were blessed to have found Beaver Mountain Log Homes and to have Tommy's dream home completed. "We are so thankful to have placed our trust in Beaver Mountain to build our dream home. Everyone who worked with us to design and build our dream home was wonderful and knowledgeable." Pat & Tom Foley's Beaver Mountain log home journey
"We are so thankful to have placed our trust in Beaver Mountain to build our dream home. Everyone who worked with us to design and build our dream home were wonderful and knowledgeable."
- Pat & Tom Foley

In 2001, Pat & Tom Foley hadn't thought much about building a log home. But their son Tommy, a firefighter in NYC, owned land in Sullivan County, NY and had dreamed about building a log home on it one day. On September 11, 2001, Tommy lost his life in the attacks on the World Trade Centers. From then on, Pat and Tom decided to build a log home on that piece of property in honor of their son and hero. Today, they have a gorgeous 3,400 sq.ft Beaver Mountain home with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms that was constructed by Jim Stevenson and his son Scott. It is ideal for entertaining with a centrally-located gourmet kitchen linking the great room to the dining room. Spacious decks provide outdoor space for gatherings and BBQs. But the heart of this home lies around the great stone fireplace where many of Tommy's awards, honors, bull riding trophies, prize deer mounts, and family mementos are held. It is proof that he still lives on, in the memory of those who love him and were blessed to have known him.
