At Beaver Mountain, we have made it our company’s goal that each home we produce be designed and crafted with the homeowner’s vision and complete satisfaction in mind.
Each Beaver Mountain Home is individually created after a personal consultation with the prospective homeowner. During a round table discussion where we review what the design, style and layout of the house will be, we determine what our client’s expectations and needs are for their home. We delve into their lifestyle, present and future, their property’s orientation (or their wants and needs for property they’d like to purchase), the allotted budget and the time frame for construction. From this consultation, a custom design for the home is formulated.
Pre-cut and notched timber truss
Customization doesn’t stop at the design table. From the beginning in 1982, Beaver Mountain has expanded the product line to offer several log sizes and profiles, corner styles, beam sizes and styles, stair components and roofing systems. These features allow clients to customize their home, making choices that will provide the look they envision.
Pre-notched timber second floor system components
Many components, such as pre-cut log walls, timber frame joinery, precision cut wall corners, pre-notched timbers, headers & joists, and even window systems are crafted and ready to assemble, more so with a Beaver Mountain cedar log and timber home than most other homes. We feel it is our responsibility to make sure our homes are crafted using the proper tools by craftsmen with the talent and experience to do it right. Our team of professionals has that experience. They are not laborers; they are craftsmen with the attention to detail required to make those components fit and look beautiful in your home.
The result? A one-of-a-kind, custom crafted log and timber home that is naturally and uniquely yours!
Pre-cut log walls are pre-assembled for every Beaver Mountain log home.

We hope this finds you well. We just spent Valentine’s weekend in the house. It is AMAZING. My brother and family came up from Houston. We had 3 blizzards on 2 different days, 2 birthday parties for family members and a great all around time.
You MUST drive down some time with John. You need to see this place with the expanded kitchen. All of the selections were perfect. We’re beyond pleased.

Beaver Mountain is very excited to have Francie Cook join our team. For over 30 years, Francie Cook has been active in the building industry. Having a passion for helping to make people’s dream homes become a reality, she is proud to say that she’s been directly involved in the designing, estimating and building of over 2,000 homes!
After graduating from SUNY Delhi, Francie started off here at Beaver Mountain as a Design Consultant for ten years. She went on to become a Licensed New York State Realtor in 2001 and even served as a director for the Broome County Board of Realtors from 2009-2013. Her experience also expands into commercial building, including restaurants, medical offices, and retail, industrial and financial facilities.
Beaver Mountain welcomed Francie back in 2013 and she currently holds the position of Regional Sales Manager for the Central & Western New York markets, along with the Southeastern Canada markets as well. She looks forward to guiding many more clients through every step of the building process!
Outside of work, Francie is the mother of three adult children and the grandmother of one; she is a very proud Navy mom, as her son is a Petty Officer 2nd Class on the USS Eisenhower. Francie loves to do anything outdoors, but mostly go for a walk in the woods, kayak or cross country ski. Even though she is always designing, painting or working on home projects, Francie makes sure she finds the time to be a Sunday afternoon football fan.
